Day four, spent in and out the subway door
I’ve been told you cant see New York in one day.. While that is probably true, i think we gave a valiant effort trying to do just that! We saw everthing from ellis island, the statue of liberty, Central park, Battery park, ground zero, Times square, Grand Central station, Rockafeller center, and the highly anticipated (by the girls) China town. Times square was awesome. At night it is lit up like the afternoon sky. And Let me tell ya, China town was quite an experience! following people around to random and secretive cache holds in tiny rooms that are packed full of eager shoppers was new to me. We did a ton of subway hopping and i almost feel like i could navigate my way anywhere in the underground tunnels now. Sadly though the subways wouldnt get us everywhere. We walked more than i think i have in the past few months!! so with legs sore and feet hurting i was glad to retire to our hotel room late that night.
